There is no gain saying that as a result of the heartache and cry that is in human heart, the present world is sick and looking for an answer. Men are struggling to find something to satisfy the yearning of their spirit. They seek satisfaction in money, politics, and all other things they were not fulfilled. They resolve to find fulfilment in religion. Religion is man-made, so also is man-made Christianity, therefore religion could not satisfy their yearnings. It is obvious that men struggle is the consequence of their separation from the presence of God. Same way Adam, the first man God created severed himself from the presence of God because of his sin. (Gen.3:10) The current cry and heartache in the human heart in the present world indicates separation from the presence of God because the word of God says sin separates man from God. “But your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you...” (Isaiah 59:2) Therefore returning to God’s presence is the answer to the cry and heartache that is in human heart.

Restoration of God’s presence requires coming into a new life and a new nature. The new life comes through Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The Son of God in whom the new life is manifested, and then the Holy Spirit came to restore God’s presence in those that believed Him. When Jesus is enlarged within those that believed and they no more walk after the flesh but walk after the spirit. (Rom.8:1) Then there is no more condemnation because that individual is justified through Jesus Christ as though he had never sinned. God doesn’t deal with man according to his past sin, He deals with him according to the seed that He planted in him. He knows that His seed in him will bring forth love, joy, peace, and many other things that will bring forth happiness to his life. It is when one begins to experience the fruitfulness of the seed that Jesus is said to be unveiled in one’s life and God’s presence is restored.

When the presence of God is restored in one’s life, he can see the activity that God is working in him. As the work goes on in his life, he develops a confidence and assurance, a freshness that shows that he has something within him. It will be something that will be radiant in his spirit. He will look different. He will talk different. He will pray different. Everything he does is different. He doesn’t look at the problems; he looks at the victory that is being accomplished in his life. It brings praise from his lips and brings worship within him.

Dear brethren, there is no happiness in anything. You will not find your satisfaction in a person; you will not find it in religion nor in man-made Christianity. (Col.2:8) It is in Jesus Christ alone. The presence of God is established when you have deep relationship with Jesus and true commitment to His word. The presence of God will bring down all things that have been as mountains before you and put you on the right way of His purpose for your life. You will see that everything is made new and beautiful. The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new.” (2 Cor.5:17) The new creation is the restoration of God’s presence; the active seed of the Spirit of God planted in you.
