Christian faith is an exciting wonder which God planned from the ages past to fulfil His desire that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Tim.2:4) It is God’s action driven by His love for mankind. (John.3:16) Christian faith simply requires obedient response to a freely given grace of God through faith in Jesus for the forgiveness of sin. Forgiveness that brings new life. New life by which those that are forgiven their sins have direct access and personal intimacy with God.

The Christian faith is wonderful because it is based on a New Covenant which is established on better promises. (Heb.8:6) A covenant which God foretold that He would put His Law in the minds of those that will receive His grace and write it in their hearts. (Jer.31:33) Unlike the Law of Moses, which was written on a tablet, God wrote the New Law in the heart of His people in His bid to help their weakness and their inability to live according to His way. (Ezekiel 36:27) The faith that permanently perfect those that believe and are being sanctified by the single sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the Cross. (Heb.10:14)

Christian faith is wonderful in the manner God plan to reconcile His people to Himself and makes them become His sons and daughters. God at the time He has purposed to fulfill His plan, revealed the mystery by bringing forth His Son, Jesus to come and redeem those which have been condemned that they might receive adoption as son because of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. (Gal.4:4) The process makes as many that receive Jesus and believe in Him the right to become children of God. (John.1:12)

The mystery surrounding the coming of Jesus, the foundation upon which the Christian faith is built is more than wonderful. His coming when revealed by God was consistently talked about by all the prophets of God and was patiently hoped for. Some prophets refer to Him as Messiah, and some call Him the Anointed One. The wonder is further expressed in the miraculous manner of His pregnancy, His birth, His death and His resurrection. He was born fully spirit (divine) and fully human (Man) (Hypostatic union) He bridge the gap between Creator and creation and remains the only one in the history of mankind with such wonder, and He is the only one that will ever be.

The gift of the Holy Spirit to believers of the Christina faith is a wonder to behold. God places His Spirit within them as a source of spiritual power. The Holy Spirit becomes a permanent and everlasting gift with which believers are sealed as guarantee of their inheritance. (Eph.1:13,14) The Spirit of God also serves as agent that transforms their mind, character and desire from the inside out, replacing old habits with godly virtue and inner peace which changes the way they live and treat others. A faith that makes a sinful man becomes a new creation through the power of the Holy Spirit. (2 Cor.5:17)

Dear Readers, it is obvious that there is more to be gained in Christian faith than to be lost in all other faiths (religions). Christian faith believers receive many unique benefits which includes forgiveness of sin by which they are saved from destruction, true peace that does not depend on life changing situation, everlasting love that is based on God’s mercy, and eternal life which is everlasting relationship with God. There is nothing that can be counted greater than the salvation that comes through Jesus.
